time for an update

So I realized the other day that it's time for an update. Unfortunately, every time I try and load pictures of Melodie up onto Blogger the computer goes a bit haywire and I can't seem to get it done. So instead, I'll do a quick note, and hopefully pics will follow:

First off, I woke up yesterday to find Melodie jumping in bed. Not so much an unusual occurance, other than the fact that she was jumping up and down with no clothes and no diaper on...umm, when did she get big enough to take off her clothes? (and no, no picture to follow that story for sure!)

Also, she was a super cute tiger for Halloween, and went trick-or-treating for the first time with Ryan. They went to a few houses on the block and then ran home, as it was a big cold for little tigers to be out asking for candy.

Some of her favorite phrases as of late: "Here ya go!", "What's this?", "Umm, no", "TANNNNNK YOU!" and counting to 9, other favorite words are, "shoes, peeeeease, ni-night, B! (for her blanket), buh-bye, and HI!". It seems like she's picking up something new every day, it's been a lot of fun.

Melodie's trip to Festa!.

We had a great time at Festa Italiana the last few days. I did great in my stroller, and got to hear lots of music! I danced quite a bit, slept quite a bit, and even got to see a giant sand sculpture of Pinocchio! There were free carnival rides at Festa, so Mom, Dad, Grandma and Auntie Ne brought me on the carousel. I had fun until I tumbled off and bruised up my face. I think mom felt worse about it than me, especially since they gave me free chocolate ice cream to make up for it! Maybe next year I'll be a little bigger, and a little less slippery!

For some reason, Melodie likes to act like she doesn't know how to tip a cup back to drink, so this is the process we go through EVERY time for her to drink her milk.

I've been promising pics from Melodie's birthday, so here are a couple.  When I get back from Tulip Time, I'll have many more to post...but this is just to whet the appetite a bit! :)  

Some of my birthday, and my awesome new moves

I had an awesome birthday. We went out for breakfast at a diner in the morning. We decorated the house for my friend's to come over. We had cupcakes and brownies, Little Caeser's pizza, soda and juice. Mommy and Daddy got me a SWEET picnic table that I can play with sand and water and boats on! It's SO cool. I also got a new trick at my party. All of my little friends were walking around, so I decided to start walking around too at the end of my party. I only took like five steps on my birthday, but the video is from today, I'm getting good at being a Bi-ped!

Random Picsi

Daddy and Mommy have been waiting on setting up the new desktop until they had a little more space.  So dumping pictures of me has gone on the backburner for awhile.  Finally they couldn't wait any longer and decided to put up the desktop in the dining room.  I don't mind so much, the cords are ALWAYS fun to get into when they're not watching too closely.  Here's a few random pictures of me recently.  One of my favorites is of my cousin Raleigh holding me and helping me with my sippy cup the last time we were in Michigan.  She's got a little brother coming any day now...I hope he ends up sharing a birthday with me, but we'll have to wait and see.  I can't wait to see them again soon.  I miss all my cousins.

I've gotten big

My mommy keeps telling me how big I've gotten. I haven't noticed, but I have had a good time exploring and talking and pulling myself up on EVERYTHING and getting into everything I shouldn't lately. My new favorite thing to do is scream when I want to go ni-night. It took my parents awhile to figure out I was just saying "it's time for bed". But they were finally taught.
